A combination of both, he's a talent and we just need to be patient.

Pretty bullish about Goetz's long term future. Everything you want in a ruck man, big body, elite endurance, great hands in the marking contest (can already tell he's a much better grab than both Minson and TC). Just needs to work on his disposal and we have a really good prospect on our hands.
Collins is a solid mark and can be at the senior level. Cordy is composed and reliable. Hamling has done enough and if match-ups warrant it he can slot in. His pace and athleticism is something he hasn't fully utilised yet. He can get a lot better if he works hard.

You would think that we will need more than 1 KPD against the Saints next week so Hamling looks likely to play... Guess it depends on how we fair tomorrow.

I'd certainly have him in the mix but given he wasn't named in the emergencies even after Dixon pulled out he could still be a very long shot selection despite how the Saints might line up.

I'd have to think we aren't fussed how oppositions teams line up against us.

He was one of the better players today but he might have slipped down the pecking order during the preseason.

Given we played him as our only listed player in the VFL last week, I think the only thing holding him back is some general match fitness. Not being a listed emergency isn't indicative of where he sits in the pecking order, IMO.

If today's performance is anything to go by, he's a monty to come back in next week. He's was the general today, extremely assured in the air and at ground level.

Glad to hear. I was a massive fan of his last season, very very light on his feet and knows where the goals are.

Kicked a nice running goal from an acute angle in the last quarter today. Very classy.

Yes that was the one, started one on one , backman kept holding his jumper so he let one go apparently.
About 3 others then joined in.

I will be there, then it's down to the braybrook footy club for the braybrook reunion, they are playing against West Footscray, then off to etihad. Big day, hearing Hawk will be at the reunion so should be a great.

Hopefully West Footscray can get a team together to give you blokes a game. Things seem grim down there. No more Tony Liberatore.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Has a team list been released?

Info above states it would be available by now, but I can't see it on WB website.

Funny that , I never played at braybrook but played a year at West Footscray, this isn't a football club reunion it's for anyone who lived in Braybrook, the footy club was approached to hold it there and of course they said yes, it's the third year they have had it in a row now, I went to the first one and met people I went to primary school with it was an amazing day.
I did see a write up That they were in a mess and playing all their reserves, sad times for what was a very strong club once , both clubs have suffered over the years.
