          Re: Footscray Practice Matches 2016

Watched today's practice match at the Holden Centre. Roughy had a good hit out for 3 quarters - seemed to hurt himself before 3/4 time and was running up and down the boundary line at the start of the fourth quarter. When he did come on, he seemed to struggle a bit. Young Lynch hurt his ankle in the third quarter pretty badly - had a solid game across half back until injured.

Hrovat probably close to best on ground - seemed to be everywhere. Honeychurch, Webb, and Dale got plenty of touches. Wouldn't be surprised to see Dunks get a game very early on - tough kid who doesn't shirk a contest. Roberts and Zordy were solid down back and Prudden was impressive. Best game I have seen from Hamilton, but he did kick the ball to the opposition a couple of times.

Goetz did some nice things and shared the ruck duties with Roughy. Adcock played ok - not sure I'd be rushing out to promote him just yet.

Bailey Williams didn't play. Interesting to see big Tom Williams take the backline group at the breaks.

Thanks heaps for the update. Crazy in this day and age of instant reporting and access, we don't have anything official coming out of the Bulldogs about the game other than a few tweets.

I heard McLean had some game time in this match also. Can anyone confirm?

Apparently we led 86-27 at 3/4 time, 13 goals to 4 - that is a serious pasting. Great effort by McLean to play in both games.

i didn't see McLean on the field. Fairly sure I would have noticed him if he was playing. He certainly wasn't at the 3/4 time huddle.

Have to get him onto that Psyche that Easton wood worked with.
At least he played out the game.
