Looks like we have something in Collins on those stats.

Fair bloody return on your first VFL game, especially on that 'competitive beast' Liam Jones.

I didn't see the game but I note Jones kicked 3 goals in a heavy defeat. Was Collins matched up on him the whole match?

Some of what I read was Fletcher Roberts on him at stages.

Collins went onto jones about halfway through the third quarter. Apart from missing an easy chance after getting on the end of a chain of hand balls and running into an open goal in the last I can't remember him getting a kick on Dad. They had a bit of a breeze and the ball was in their forward line a bit in the third quarter.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Bailey Williams stats look good for a first match. Was he playing on the half back line?

Lukas Webb playing as an inside mid? 6 kicks and 21 handballs. If Webb, Honeychurch and Adcock are playing roles through the midfield and forward of centre, would someone like Prudden be an option to come in to replace Bob?

Yes. Looked very comfortable out there most of the time.

Yep, was pretty tidy by foot and moves well. It'll be interesting to see how he and Lynch develop side by side as they are gunning for the same role.

Have you any feedback on how he is going or enjoying / not enjoying it?

                        LINK

                        Summary of VFL form:

Mitch Honeychurch: Played as a midfielder collecting 34 disposals, and was in an under all day. Won plenty of free kicks from his work at the contest, kicked two goals. One of the best on ground.

Jed Adcock: Played as a midfielder and forward and brought plenty of experience to the team. Won a heap of disposals, laid eight tackles, kicked two goals, used the ball well and really showed his leadership on field.

Josh Prudden: Played as a defender, rebounded the ball really well, and used the ball well too. Defensively he was really sound. He collected 24 disposals out of the back half. A good game.

Bailey Dale: Another really promising game playing through the midfield, his run and carry was a highlight. Kicked two goals himself, a lot of contested possessions. Encouraging signs.

Kieran Collins: Key defender who won plenty of ball down back. Took ten marks, three of those intercepted, and laid four tackles. Got forward and kicked the ball inside 50. Really encouraging.

Fletcher Roberts: Another strong defensive game. One-on-one contests and defending aggressively a highlight. Used the ball well.

Bailey Williams: Provided plenty of rebound and dash out of our back half, and is getting better each week as a defender.

Declan Hamilton: Played in the midfield, a lot of inside 50’s. Kicked a goal and set up a lot of his teammates with his ball use and creativity.

Tom Campbell: Another solid game in the ruck, collecting four tackles, a goal and 16 disposals. Had a good impact on the game and was really strong with his centre bounce work and helped us win clearances.

Lukas Webb: Gathered 25 possessions, some inside 50s and had another solid contribution to the midfield. Growing each week.

Will Minson: Solid game, kicked two really important goals in the third quarter when the Northern Blues were challenging us. He shared the ruck duties with Tom Campbell, and got involved around the ground.

Jack Redpath: Worked really hard, despite not hitting the scoreboard. Created a contest for us, and helped his teammates to lock the ball in our forward half. Through the game he went into the midfield and showed some good creativity and hardness in the contest.

Zaine Cordy: Played as a defender, but didn’t win as much ball this week as in previous matches. Had 10 disposals, laid four tackles and really worked hard.

Brad Lynch: Young defender that collected the most disposals he’s had at the level, 17 possessions. Took the ball inside 50m three times for us using his speed, and also took some good intercept marks. He’s growing each week.

Luke Goetz: Kicked a goal, a took couple of nice marks. Continuing to develop his forward craft and ruck work when he’s playing through the midfield.
