My first VFL game in years. Comments:
- T Boyd good. Mostly round the ground and got better as game went on. Missed 2 easy set shots. Got to good spots in forward line but standard of vfl football means ball never got to him, dropped short etc. of course at AFL level would've been more closely defended.
- Clay great return. Wouldn't have known he'd missed games. Great to see him out there.
- Jong got tagged but plenty of it.
- Collins ok but really good last quarter- Defended stoutly. Whole defence missed many over the backs in 3rd quarter but. Clark didn't do much so that's a plus for Dad.
- lynch had some beautiful runs and looked great with the ball at times. His defending and contesting for the ground ball was pretty bad. Just doesn't keep the ball in front of him.
- dale can't remember him getting a touch other than a long point.
- big will was great. Two highlights. First a ball up at chf tap down to T Boyd, handball in traffic to Jong (or maybe lynch) goal. Other was big hit out of middle, follow up and long goal from 50. Magic. If bevo can find a spot for him he's ready.
- z cordy back. Had a reasonable 3rd quarter but I think sat out the last quarter.

Great goal Lynch kicked in the third .
Looks very skillful . Just hung on in difficult conditions .
Clay had about 5 touches in 2 minutes in the third

Clay ended up with 36 touches in his return. Jong with 29, Webb and Lynch with 24.

So good that Clay got through. Let's hope this it now, his long term career begins now.
