Gee Mantis. Sorry to hear it. A very fine line in these incidents. Glad to know you are ok. Have been hit a few times myself.
The potential harm in that one is far more serious than having your ankle in a moon boot.

Not good to hear but glad you've come out of it relatively well. Sounds like it could have been really nasty.

I've got zero patience for people who ride without them.
Are there more of them all of a sudden? I'm seeing lots of push bike riders riding the wrong way down one way streets and lots not wearing helmets. Lots of them do both things at the same time. The ones wearing helmets are usually riding on the footpath.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

A couple of things really stood out from this game.

Firstly Hrovat is a cut above at this level, his decision making and skill execution really stood up under the conditions.

Webb is busting his arse to get back in the senior team. The performance on the weekend should see him back in the seniors this week.

Roarke Smith is going to be a player, his ability to read the player, jump and defend makes him incredibly suitable to Bevo's defensive structures.

Our first year players are tired, particularly noticeable in Collins and Lynch. VFL have a bye in a week or so and i think these kids certainly need it.

          Thanks SP.

Webb has had a really good year in terms of his development.. Transitioned into the midfield with ease, is influencing games and seems to lift at the right time.. It was a shame that he wasn't used well when he played senior footy recently, hopefully if he plays soon he gets more midfield minutes.

Hrovat has had a shit year with injuries.. Hope he gets a run at it from here on in.. His pace will be handy. The knock has always been decision making and skill execution, but if that's improving it should make him a more valuable player.

Everytime I hear Bevo talk about the VFL players he brings up Roarke and really praises him. Any chance he will be upgraded to play seniors in the next few weeks?

He just likes him because he's a skater hippy.

Thanks heaps for those stats. Great effort there and excited to think Nathan and Lucas may soon be playing senior footy.
