That's ridiculous. Why can't we have it at Whitten Oval?

Apart from the top 2 teams getting their qualifying final at home and of course the grand final being at Etihad, all the other finals are at North Port Oval.

The 109 tram runs from Box Hill to Port Melbourne. Yeah I don't get it. Fine for Week 3 play both Prelim VFL finals at North Port Oval but at least for Week 1 and 2 we can still play at the true home grounds.

Port Melbourne footy ground is the MCG of the VFL.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Good side! If someone has a huge first half they might find themselves in cotton wool for our Friday night Semi.

Stevens or Hrovat or both to only play half a game?
                      Jong a definite out.

Interesting to see how they play this with the senior selection/second half (or full game) rest scenario.

Would be really interesting (although unlikely) to see Bevo just watch the first half and make a call on the spot to pull a player out that has played well - like its a playoff for senior selection.

But I'd imagine the decision of Jong's replacement (and the replacement of others that may be required should other senior players not come up) will be determined shortly after the result of tonights game.

I think there would be a few in the frame to replace Jong.

Stevens and Hrovat would appear the most likely, but Webb must be in the mix.

We could see reduced minutes with different players have extended interchange breaks. Perhaps 3 players to be treated as 2 for time on ground, effectively playing about 55 - 60% game time each.
