That 3rd quarter was pure, dominant, party time footy. The best 30 minutes Footscray put together all year.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

If we don't have Long or Hannan on our AFL next year they won't be in our VFL team. Someone will snap them up.

If I had to choose one, I'd probably go with Long. Provides us with a point of difference.

Hard to gauge his value now. 9 goals in a finals series makes him the Rocket Man in the draft order.

            Still think he's a late round-rookie pick.

              An absolute work of genius.

Our medical staff are echoing the rest of the club, peaking at the right time.

The Herald Sun are reporting that our medico's are very smart with Jong yesterday. They actually taped up his good shoulder as a decoy, so Casey were targeting the good shoulder all game. Very clever!!

Very clever move, although Lin said by the end of the match, the good shoulder was more sore than the one which was operated on!

Hannan was so clean below his knees yesterday. I'd be snapping him up.

Azabob reported that on this very thread last night. Either way genius who decided on that.

I hope they identified you as the source of the story...

There was a passage of play on the wing in the 4th I think. It was outstanding.

Yeah I know the one you mean. He did it twice in the same play.

That 3rd 1/4 was brilliant. I thought I was watching the senior side for a moment.

The Jonginator really pressing for a senior call up. Landed heavily at the end of the game. hope he's ok.

Really like B.Williams, R.Smith, L.Webb and B.Lynch as players with a long term future for us. Young guns for sure and I think they will all play a fair bit of senior footy next year.

I also have a lot of admiration for Jordan Russell. Played a brilliant game and must have been close to BOG. I'd be tempted to give him Adcock's spot on the rookie list.
