Maybe all the focus on midfielders let decent big kids slide to us. Let them all fight over mids while we walk away with 5 kids averaging 195cm. Exciting times ahead to see what these kids can achieve.

Take out Zaine two years ago and we went all small with our live picks in one draft.

Well we lost Goetz and Minson, Murphy is probably in his last year and Adams might have already done a deal to go home next year so not surprising we went tall , I knew we would at least chase one Ruckman and for English to be still around at 18 was a no brainer.

Feels like with this draft if 2 of the players can reach something near the potential we can see in them and the other 3 are pretty much busts, we'll still have had a good draft.

My tip is English and Lipinksi will be at the very least solid AFL contributors.

If one or more of Greene, Young and M&M can break out, Dalrymple's genius is confirmed.

We're showing a lot of faith in our mostly unestablished smalls, if we'd drafted another group to compete with Dale, Webb et al, we may have ended the year without them having had enough opportunity. Even with the loss of a few smalls, we bat deep in that area so I'm a fan of this approach in 2016.

We're showing a lot of faith in our mostly unestablished smalls, if we'd drafted another group to compete with Dale, Webb et al, we may have ended the year without them having had enough opportunity. Even with the loss of a few smalls, we bat deep in that area so I'm a fan of this approach in 2016.

We have some serious air power in our squad at the moment and our choices at this draft has only added to that. I wonder if our powers that be have a vision of how they see the game or our game plan evolving that has influenced our draft strategy this year?

We are contested ball beasts and we are generally unbeatable at ground level. Are we looking to control the airwaves as well?
