Lippa & Greene making a great statement. Sounds very promising, do the kids in this thread.

Sounded like Daniel found some touch.

Great to see Lipinski hit the scoreboard, would like to hear more about his game.

Very young team for Footscray this year, with inexperienced key position players. Keeping expectations in check.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Had a disappointing day. Did some good things at times butwasn't good. Dale, Collins, Hamilton all struggled.

Of the new lads I reckon Lipinski impressed the most . Real class act .
English even though he looks malnourished is going to be a real star, he's ground ball efforts for a bloke that size are exceptional .
Blokes knocking on the door I thought Webb was very good , as was Honeychurch .
Hamilton just doesn't get enough of it, and Collins is a fair way off .
Williams was very good , although that mistake late was unforgivable .
Caleb Daniel was excellent after quarter time, and Biggs was pretty good after a quiet start .
Not sure on Crameri's injury, as he didn't look over hobbled . Dale, like Hamilton doesn't do enough .
                    Looks a very young team

Nah we almost stole it. They destroyed is in the last quarter. Disappointing result. I felt we played better most of the day and kept them in it via errors. Last quarter the talls got taller. We had our chances bit blew it

If Young was 33. Not a good day. NHM I liked, didn't do a lot in the 2nd half but looked real good in the 1st.

Best we get our losses over and done with before 4.40pm.

Forwards played behind their opponents in the last term, which cost us on the rebound .
Saw the worst rushed behind decision today , can't recall the player but he was under pressure and it was rushed through .
Free kick goal , at best the penalty is to severe

Nah that was a free. He just held the ball and put it over thw line when a player came at him. Pretty blatant.

Tim English is going to be an absolute star over 200 cm but moves like bontempelli , his ball handling is unbelievable in close his evasive ball getting skills , balking and nous just took my breath away .
His downside at the moment is his build, he will get knocked over in AFL against big body ruckman.
I think he will play this year but be a Little patient with his ruck work just to slight.
As they say lock it in the kid is going to be a gun.
Would he be the first player at 18 to never play a game in anger and get a two year extension ? Theirs a reason for that.
                                Bring back the biff
