Port kick another and it's 12 points with about 5 to go.

**** weekend of footy all round.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

He did but Collins was standing beside Lisle. Below par effort all round.

How the hell have we lost by 5+ goals after being in a winning position 6 minutes ago?

              Stuff this.

Looked like Roughy was being managed but English is special.

Not the best weekend all round. Dissapointing.

Who has been our best? Namely wanting to know how Roughy, Dickson and Wallis went.

Dickson didn't play, he was rested.

Roughy was ok, for first game back, and Wallis another good game.

VFL side also undermanned with the senior players out, they have lost players too. Brought a few first gamers today.

I thought Honeychurch played a good game. Was used in the midfield today. Biggs played the same role as in the firsts, and about the same way.

Our injuries and underdone players have a spin off effect for the vfl side sadly .
Only saw the last 5 min , saved the worst till last!
On the flipside as a port fan growing up its great to see them going well .

Yeah we just cannot get any luck with injuries at the moment.

Yep he is. 3 rucks didn't help today but Footscray looked at their best in the 2nd when English took the ruck. Does a ton more than just ruck, we've got a real find there. Getting some weight onto that frame will be the biggest issue.

English has ground level skills of an elite mid. Excited to watch him develop.

Lewis Young was the other raw tall that stood out in defence. 10 marks and generally made good decisions with the ball.

I quite liked NMM too. Again, raw, but glimpses of talent that has him another one to watch closely. With Green & Lippa showing a bit already, if Tweedie shows a spark too than Dalrymple will become a mythical god like being.
