From what i have seen of Hynes at training and the trial game today he looks like he could be a special talent.

There is usually 1 player I intently watch at VFL level. He is the one this year. I reckon he can push for afl selection fairly early.

Dolan also showed a lot of promise. Shame Jacques didn’t get a run.

Footscray has submitted a squad of 27 players for its practice match against Box Hill at Mission Whitten Oval tomorrow night.

Up to 10 AFL players could feature, including Jedd Busslinger, Cooper Hynes, Bailey Dale and Oskar Baker.

Buku Khamis, Caleb Poulter, Arthur Jones and Ryan Gardner could also line-up, having been listed as emergencies in the Dogs’ AAMI Community Series match in Launceston.

VFL recruits David Cuningham and Bailey Medwell make up the squad, as do familiar faces Ethan Hunt, Cooper Craig-Peters and Phoenix Spicer.

The first bounce will be at 5.30pm on Friday night. Attendance is free.
