Only Gallagher missing from the warm up - all 3 emergencies out running around at present

Buss really is a unique player, I genuinely think there’s a bit of a weapon in there, he’s just a slow burn but when he’s at his peak size and athleticism I think there’s a really really good player.

He’s a genuine full back IMO, but he can run and spread and link up as an offensive option like very few full backs. Really good user usually (although prone to some errors), decent mark but will get better as he gets stronger, reads the play very well and I think he has good one on one defensive craft - he’s just been so undersized and genuinely weak (coming in with butchered shoulders in his juniors to first year) at the start of his career so has been beaten in one on ones, think as he gets stronger though he’ll show he’s a strong one on one player.

would like a little more intent out of him at times though

Any chance of kicking longer than 6 metres in the back half, wouldn't be paid even if it hit the intended target.

Yeah pretty grim, looks like a really tricky breeze though just watching on tv

Jacques looks fantastic, think he’d be playing right now if it wasn’t for the untimely injury.

He’ll be in the AFL by mid season I think if not sooner, exactly what we’re looking for in our backline right now.

Last years draft is seriously exciting, all players of need really

QT Sandy 4.6 to Dogs 1.2 - nice goal from boundary by Luke Kennedy. Breeze a factor.

Jacques has looked good. Must be under instruction to play short into the breeze but some of the disposal has lacked conviction

He really does have some poise about him. I was talking to Smads the other day and we think he's grown 3cm or so since he first arrived

Had a mate go watch us at training and apparently got talking to a few in The know and the reason Buss isn’t getting a game is his one on one is questionable . I guess that kind of backs up the earlier post on Buss.
Jacques has been brilliant, just looks like he has it all in only two games at this level .
