It's worth mentioning our return to play team, Darcy played a full game with time in the ruck and then Garcia picks up a lazy 39 on return. No doubt its a strength of ours.

Where does all this leave buSS?

Buss is a FB IMO, and probably not the best fit alongside JOD & Lobb - it would hurt for him to be overtaken by another defender like this but he seems like a smart kid. I really really like Buss and think he will be very good in time, but I think he’s a slow burn and I hope he sees a future here as there will be plenty of room in defence in the coming years, he just has to hold on a little longer. Buss & JOD sounds like a nice combo for mine when they’re both ~24

Geez, Garcia was good, he shapes the footy like he is playing alongside Libba, Ed and Bont.

Good start for Sellwood, combined with being crook, he needs another 2 VFL games, but more importantly, 3 weeks training with the senior team. Looks like he was kicking to Peel Thunder patterns at times, and wondered why no one was there.

Other good performances, but with our injury list trimming up as it is, they are all right where they belong, in the VFL.
Likely joined by Cleary, Dolan/Hynes (Just for thier development, huge fan).
Bramble might survive, if Truck and Freijah play more mid, IF Sellwood makes the senior team.

Buss as a no1, or stopper, does not move the needle for us right now, let him keep developing if that is his role.

Where does all this leave buSS?

Sellwood is more of a genuine flanker. Buss i see more of a rebounding key back. Sellwood would take the 3rd tall, and Buss the 2nd tall IMO
