Round 6 2018 - Footscray Bulldogs V Port Melbourne
Re: Round 6 2018 - Footscray Bulldogs V Port Melbourne
Tough game for us, Port are a bloody good team with a couple of players that really push the boundaries on what they're allowed to legally do on the field.

Agree - Toby Pinwheel (or has he finally retired...)
There is no sadder sight than a young pessimist.

Nearly had them last year in the semi final. They are never an easy team to play.

He has finally retired and thank god for that; he was the classic example of a player that gets talked up even though he spends games picking on underdeveloped kids.
I'll never forget him trying to get into Honeychurchs face during the 2014 prelim final and HC completely no sold him.

Hmm, i don't know if Toby was so discerning as to who was in his path. Inspirational leader. (he is my cousin).
By the way he has returned to his junior club, Waverley, where he could fetch $1500/game but has agreed to play pro bono. Lindsay Gilbee is one of the coaches.

Is Boyd even a recognised ruckman? He is a tall forward and pinch hit ruck that we are sort developing into a no.1 ruckman.. for some unknown reason.
He's actually very good once the ball hits the ground and is a pretty good mark of the high ball. His tapwork I'd describe as sub-par.
He managed a few kicks out of the pack from the ruck contest last week which was pleasing but I'm expecting Trengove to be a late in.
Without someone forward to bring the ball to ground they will kill us with intercept marking - we have no get-out option.

Maybe this is the game where we will unveil the chaos ball?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
