When we beat them last month, they had one more scoring shot, won inside 50's (53-46), won clearances (43-31) and won hit out 51-29. Teams will be a bit different. Should be a classic in fine conditions. Go 'Scray.

I think they will win the ruck duels again, but hoping we can win this year after the loss in last years prelim

It looks like decent weather for the game today. Gates open around 1.10pm

Both very strong lineups. Got a ticket, just working up the last bit of motivation to actually hop in the car for the hour + drive west.

Good crowd, should be a close game.

Not saying we get there or whatever, but what time will the GF be? Will they try to avoid the Prelim on Saturday and have an early start?

I’m telling ya’s, Hynes has genuinely superstar upside. Have seen it since his first game, his upside is enormous.

Dare I say it but he reminds of a young Dusty obviously not saying he gets anywhere near that good, and obviously not even close in production. But the similarities in some of the attributes…

Switch has flicked for AJ since he came back from the hammy. Never gonna be a high possession player but his impact is off the charts at the moment and his defensive work is first class

Jacques has been thrown around a lot this year but I’d like to see him settle down back now considering our needs and the path to afl level is there. Think he could be our Richards replacement we’ve been desperate for since he moved out. Still a lot of work to go on his body though

                            Good first quarter.
SEllwood and Jaques doing well in the back line.Scott getting a lot of it.

Rotten luck for Arty. Hope the eye is precautionary.

Busslinger super solid and genuinely very hard to get past in the air or even on ground level. Pretty rarely beaten these days and is a smart footballer and sets up a lot of good chains. Next year is crucial for his development - he just needs to start clunking some contested marks to take his game to the next level. I’m quietly confident that part of his game will develop, but we need to start seeing it this year.

With the way he plays it’s something that you need body size for to start clunking them, unlike the athletic types like Croft who put themselves in position through athleticism to hold them, types like Buss who stand and wrestle you just need body size to be able to hold your ground and take the mark.

                                i think it’ll come
