Our VFL set up is second to none since 2014 .
high up finals near on every year , one year we hadn’t lost a game before covid hit , quite a few players getting picked up by AFL teams .
We develop in that space better than any .
Have we some connection with Melbourne storm in that space ?
Even coach changes over the years hasn’t seemed to affect us .
I do believe picking kids in the mid season draft as it’s a chance to get a free hit with very young players .
Walker and Sellwood have shown they can play and could be extremely good in the future .

I got in late to the Whitten Oval early 2nd quarter. Saturday traffic. Parked on Rupert Street West Footscray.

Great win today in the prelim and we go through to a Grand Final.

They are doing something right with the VFL program so huge credit there.

Great win by the club. Disappointed with the crowd size. Hawk fans didn't show up.
Watching the game from the stand, couldn't always pick up the detail you would on tv.
Biggest surprise of the afternoon was that Will Lewis didn't get into his customary scuffle. I love the way he plays on the edge and the way he gets into the face of the opposition. Great reward for effort.
Liked the games of 'duck hook golfers' Scott and Baker. Walker and Sellwood have been nice pick ups. And Jacques, Dolan and Hinds showed their class.
