2014, 2016, 2021 & 2025. Our VFL program is as good as it gets.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

When the weather turned ugly, Oscar Baker made his mark on the game.

What a game! Awesome for the boys, stuck it out and just wouldn’t lose! Can’t downplay how important this sort of experience is for these guys developments. Some huge moments from the kids, who you just know have it. And of course the VFL listed boys who stood up too.

proud of the boys for this one!

Did any notice if JUH was amongst the AFL boys would be nice if he rocked up for the Grand Final.

Very pleased for the group. We seem to be very tight and comradely is off the charts.

m feeling good about next year as this group will grow and be hungry to get a senior game.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

Umps did everything to pull sharks over the line in Q4. Ripper match. Worthy of watching replay. Sharks are very good, amazing comebacks twice and almost third time.

That Buss goal from boundary line in Q4 was a thing of beauty.

Super happy for Duryea and Jones who both turned clock back today and especially Scott and Adz.

Gee we’ve got some good players coming through; Selwood, Walker, Dolan, Jacques, Hynes….

Shout out to Baker who I thought was really influential.

                    Poulter did some nice things.

Smith held up well for much of the match against Crossley who I thought was excellent.

That slide and punch or tap of ball by Sellwood to steward ball over boundary line in our F50 in Q4 was magnificent. Desperation and oh so clever when it looked like there was no way he could gain ground on oppo.

Hope Cooper Craig Peters and Billy Crofts (what a game both played) are picked up by an AFL side. If Tassie was looking for ready made players they’d be two beaut pickups.

Some of those speedy, skilful types Sharks have would surely be on AFL sides’ radars.

                    Josie :)

                    Our day will come
                    And we'll have everything.
                    We'll share the joy
                    Just like '54 again.

What it means to the players and club is huge.
Hynes, Dolan, Croft and all putting their hands up for '26 and beyond.

From today I'd expect Treloar, Hynes, Dolan, Arty, Croft, Baker, Jaques and one of Buss or Sellwood to be pushing for our round 1 side. There are plenty of spots up for grabs, and with another pre season these young guys will be coming for it!

How clean is Dolan? Going to be a very handy player for us.

Great atmosphere at the ground today too.

Good game of footy between two good sides.

Thought Baker's stats didn't go close to telling his impact on the game. Some of his pressure acts were genuinely immense.

Scott makes it almost impossible to delist him after a big finals series.

CCP is a bull, hope we rookie him. Thought although he was fumbly in the wet at times, his effort was what we often lack in the AFL side. A never say die attitude.

Doc Duryea has been one of our best recruits in recent memory,a nice way to go out congrats!

Really enjoyed this VFL season, Dom has left us with a parting gift there is alot to like.

Crofty left a few marks out there today but the bravery of that kid and his ability to fight, scrap, run and chase without ball in hand will ensure we have a high level AFL player on our hands.

Great performance to play so well early, get pegged back, get the game on our terms again, get pegged back and then go again in greasy conditions.

Impressed with a few efforts, not certain the stats sheet will reflect it but:

Jaques, I thought he had huge moments when the game was really hot. A sure hand and competed with real vigour when he absolutely had to go.

Crofty looked every bit the player we expect him to be, he competes hard in every facet.

Hynes was getting some attention off the ball and I saw him let rip with a beautiful check hook that stood the bloke up. Super impressed in that moment that he wasn’t going to be bullied.

aside from the footy, how good was the big FOOTSCRAY chant when we goaled after the game was tied up.
