 The only silver lining in this complete shit show is he won’t be redeeming himself at Geelong.Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.👍 4Comment

 Pity we couldn’t trade for Butters this year. Would have been a marvellous outcome.
 
 At least Marra’s 2nd year big $ not on our books. Given AFL’s forced involvement I feel we should have been compensated some of his contract value this year (as I’m guessing we wanted to cancel his contract part way through when he clearly wasn’t meeting requirements however AFL stepped in).
 
 Perhaps there is some non written agreement we are not privy to (more games at MCG, opening game vs Pies for a few years, no games at Geelong next year…).
 
 PS His outgoing statement on Insta is reasonably classy. Still, grrrrr.Josie :)
