    He was quiet in the game I saw but that's a super tiny sample size (joke intended). Think they've done well with their spread of VFL players this year.

          Is he any relation to ex Footscray players Wally and Alan Trusler? In fact Wally Trusler is a fairly well known local football name. I think he played with Kingsville in the FDFL and from memory Alan was the last player dropped before the 1954 Grand Final*.







          *It may have been Nappy Ollington though.
          They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

              Here is link to big footy page with highlights of port Melb vs dogs match. You can see how good Cavarra is and how Maclean was sensational from part way through 2nd quarter. Maclean should be given more midfield time in seniors IMO.

              How did Gardner play? 12 Disp, 1 mark, 1 Tackle, 8 Hitouts, 0 Goals. Didn't do much, but to be fair, the conditions didn't suit talls.
