      I mean the NBL1 is so small yet it's covered so much better than a bigger league like the VFL. Sometimes you're lucky to get a radio feed of a VFL game. Most NBL1 games are streamed through YouTube.

        I spoke to the guy behind me tonight at the game who went to the VFL and he said Dale Morris played very well. Will be great to see him back in the seniors soon.

            Preface this by saying, I haven't read this thread. But I went along Saturday, and my thoughts;

            - Rhylee West is really clean and to me looks AFL ready.
            - Mitch Wallis was ok, but to me, I'd like to see him have one more at VFL level before he's considered to take an AFL spot (especially considering we may be 100% healthy from saturday night)
            - Sweet can get hit outs but is miles off being AFL ready.
            - Buku needs more urgency in his game. Has some really good traits, but he floats, and needs to read the game better (to clarify, he reads the flight of the ball well - but doesn't read the game well enough yet). Think his kicking and athleticism indicate to me he is worth sticking with and could make it - but has a lot to learn.
            - Cavarra couldn't get a kick. That will happen sometimes as a fwd pocket.
            - The VFL player Scott....you'd love to put his footy brain and ability to do the basics into a player with AFL athleticism. He knows what he is doing out there.
            - Jong was back. Needed the run.
            - Morris was solid. Would think one more VFL before being considered.
            - Bailey Dale does well at VFL level - 27 poss and 2 goals is good on paper - but I didn't love his game to be honest.
            - Vandermeer has some good traits. Be good to see him play every week now, injury free, and build a solid end to his season.
            - Lynch didn't really impact the game.
            - Others were as you'd expect at the level (ie. Hayes got plenty of footy and runs all day, Roberts and the Young's solid when in defence, Roberts no real clue when he went forward,).

            Surprised Richmond had been on top. Not sure who they were missing this week, but there wasn't much there.

                Have to say Footscray are performing well above expectations, Gia has done well with them down there
                If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
