Poor old Frankston. They led by 31 points at 3qtr time v Box Hill, and ended up not only getting run down, but run over by 18 points.

Footscray looks a hell of a lot nicer than adding another 'AFL team 2' to the list

Yep, one of my favourite things about the VFL team is that we went with the traditional name.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

We're 14 points ahead of 8-10 with 5 rounds and 4 games left against North, Essendon, Frankston and Sandringham. Gonna be tough to get the home ground advantage from here but would think that we would be likely to keep the double at least.

I had a look and we also finish with Coburg (there is six round left), but I think you are still on the money that we will be unlikely to crack the top two.

Richmond play Essendon in the second to last round, so our first up opponent may well be the loser of that game.

Dunno how I missed that. Still four of our final five games are bottom 5 and at lot would have to go our way to even slip into 2nd. 2nd is possible because Essendon have games against us, Williamstown and Richmond so a more difficult run home for them with a couple of swing games could see them dropping to third or fourth if they're unlucky.

Tigers have mostly matches in the middle 5 so they could be pipped if the opposition plays well or drags Richmond down to their level.

I’m used to the Western Bulldogs now in the AFL but we still are Footscray and always have been having F.F.C on the back.
