Credit to Gowers, it sounded like he genuinely lifted in the second half.

It was definitely a case of Bad Billy in the first half and then Good Billy in the second half. Played mainly midfield - probably to help him get in the play.

I thought it was a pretty even performance. Williams definitely a class above, but a bit sloppy on occasions getting caught with the ball. West didn’t harm his chances of a debut and Hayes was strong on his wing until taken off the ground. Impressed with Porters game and thought Roberts and the two Youngs had good games across half back. Khamis continues his steady improvement - he is a neat kick. Gowers a bit all over the place. Seemed more interested in roughing up the Sandy players versus winning his own ball. Did more this week than last week at least. Morris steady across half back and as someone has already mentioned Sweet strong in the ruck duels. Good contributions from VFL listed players - Wally, Scott, Nash

Thanks for the reports. Thoughts on Sweet today?
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Dominant in the ruck but still a WIP around the ground outside of the ruck contests
