Sam is on his way to being one of the best List Managers in the AFL in my opinion. I'm sure he will one day go past that position to higher office.

It's a big next 2 years in terms of list management. Let's hope he nails it.

We better sign up Sam long term asap because they're gonna come for him.

Can see him soon stepping up to Footy Dept boss or even a CEO in next few years.

Won’t happen , they have the best list manager in the history of list managers in the whole world.

Highlights:

- Demanded a high price from Brisbane for Adams and got it
- Used the identical picks above for Bruce
- Keath costs us 45 & 60
- Gave up 19 draft points this year to secure Garcia last year
- Got Treloar, $1.5M, 500+ draft points for a future second rounder
- Got mature depth players Duryea, Lloyd, Hannan & Martin very, very cheap
- Good faith traded Roughead as the coach didn't want to select him
- Good live trading, securing future picks
- Taking West as F/S and soon MacPherson and JUH
- Kept some good picks in the bank to use on Bailey Smith & Weightman at the very top end while brining in top end mature talent
- Didn't buckle to Essendon, St Kilda or Adelaide when the pressure was on
- Worked the rookie list A & B smartly
- Kept re-signing the players we wanted to re-sign

Not a bad first three years...
