A lot of full time forwards don't manage that, let alone medium forwards.

We have two players averaging more than that this year, both KPFs.
You are more generous than I, I don’t think he ‘plays’ in the middle. His magnet might say that, but he’s no good there. Leaving that aside, you can get a guy like Dan Butler or Sam Lloyd with similar goal scoring output for a nothing draft pick and much less money. Why take on a lazy player for a second rounder and say $150,000 more if he was to be traded? I don’t see the attraction in really anyone trading for him. I think he stays on less money.

Our goals are also spread because we more options to goal, which has made us the highest scoring team this year. That’s a strength to me.

Playing as a mid he should be racking up possessions, but he just doesn't get the ball very often, and as HD says he disappears in the second half of every game.

It's difficult for me re. Stringer. He's gone out of his way with my kids a few times both at the club and away from it. Both my kids are on the autism spectrum and he was just sensational with them. Gave us a signed 2017 Premiership jumper and all which is still on the wall.

        My kids adored him.
Nice of him to go out of his way to find a Richmond contact who could sort that out for you!

This is the thing about people in the spotlight, you get a pretty narrow view of who they are and it's never black and white.
        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Haha, was thinking the same thing. I just want to know why 1ED has a Richmond jumper up on his wall?

Does it include a picture in picture displaying the excavator they used to find Josh Jenkins?
Pretty sure they're still looking for him.

He might do alright out of the Melbourne fish bowl at a NSW or Qld based club. His numbers are still pretty good for a mid sized forward with occasional stints in the middle. But there needs to be a total commitment to fitness and lifestyle changes, which I'm not sure he's capable of.

He would have been an amazing player in the semi-professional era of 25-30 years ago

The Swans could be a good destination for him.

Both very good points. He would have been a sensational player n the 80s/90s. Which is ironically when Ablett was at his best.

And playing for an off-Broadway club where the glare of publicity is not so bad would be great for him.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Apols gave me a jumper with gold logo IN 2017. Well not me, my son.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I doubt he leaves his kids in Melbourne.
He likes the limelight so if he does go it would be to a "big" Vic club.
I don't think he leaves Essendon.

Just proves nothing's ever black and white. Stringer might be an idiot and a bonehead but it doesn't surprise me he was good with your kids - I've only heard positive stories regarding him and kids.

I think I showed incredible restraint not making almost word for word that gag that popped into my head earlier today.

Yes, I'm ashamed of myself for being so far off the pace.

No thanks; while I do acknowledge that his best is amazing, his worst is as bad as it gets and he doesn't defend or run hard enough to justify a contract. Watch the Cats pick him up on the cheap
