Buku needs to use his leap more in the ruck I felt he got caught up wrestling too much in the third but he knows were the goals are.

Marra struggling? I thought it was a huge gap from AFL to VFL and he wouldn't learn anything from dominating at this level?

Is it possible that he hasn't played much football over the past 2-3 years, is a developing key position player and can benefit greatly from playing at this level without the pressure and scrutiny so he can focus and improve on the intricacies involved in playing AFL?

Much better in last - hope that builds his confidence.

It feels like we've found a good one with Cleary. Give him some time to put on a little more size and he'll be right.

Do you really think he avoids scrutiny and pressure by playing VFL? If anything, it adds to it given we have a forward line of defenders/midfielders, clearly struggling, yet a prized #1 KPF isn't playing.

Make no bones about it, playing him in the VFL achieves nothing for him personally at this point.

The only circumstance I'd mildly entertain it is if we were trialing him in a new position.

Agree. When you look at the functioning of our fwd line, and see true fwds like Jamarra and Schache in the VFL, it’s quite laughable really.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Agree with the sentiment. But the makeshift fowards got the job done with Naughton not even registering a goal. Most probably will only strenghten Bevo's resolve.

You think he shows more than Lachie Young?

What screamed ''star'' to you in these highlights?

From what I've seen he's so far shown much better ball use than what Lachie did.

In the Khamis highlights both Sweet and West looked good as play makers. Khamis looked good as a finisher. I would promote all three.
