    Yes this is true.

McComb's selection post last week was fine. He did what you'd ask of a sub last week and impacted the game when he had to late. He didn't play well today but still contributed a crucial goal.

He wasn't responsible for Richmond getting back into the game in the second, or going on with it and taking the lead. He's a fringe player who played a fringe player game. I'm more concerned about Libba dropping off the face of the earth, Bont not kicking goals he should - or even get close to kicking them, JJ not chasing with 100% commitment at all times and myriad other things beyond the performance of a maligned fringe player.

Having said all that, I think you have to reward Toby's game. He was trash in the first two games this year and should be smarting over how he played given he was set to have a good opening of the season. Give him the chance to get his season going.
      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

McLean is a gun and could well get a rotation in our midfield if the usual suspects don't pull their fingers out. He'll fight tooth and nail for the ball.

I reckon Tim O'Brien was in the bests. He did well today albeit on a junior player.

Yeah TOB looked above VFL level. Could he replace Crozier?

            Good call..

It might be a Cleary VS. O'Brien for the final spot. That's if they choose to swap Keath out for Gardy

Rhylee West's start to the year has been really underwhelming. The switch to playing him forward in the VFL feels like a landmark moment where we're effectively saying that he's no longer competing for midfield spots at AFL level. It's a small forward rotating through the middle or bust, and right now he's not impressing in that role.

McNeil looks to have gone backwards as well.

Positives from the game were Busslinger getting involved and looking pretty composed with the footy, Gardner and O'Brien finding form, and McLean registering outrageous numbers through the middle.

Plenty have said it before but Joel Garner is a very good player at this level. Great composure and decision making paired with nice foot skills. Wouldn't be opposed to giving him a list spot in the mid season draft if his form line continues.

Well summed up. A few times West didn't even bother competing in a couple contests.

What did you think of Duryea's game? I thought he was getting caught holding the ball a few times and should have done a lot better.

Yes he looks to have less time with the ball than usual, and didn't find it as much as you'd expect. Will be interesting to see which way the MC go this week as O'Brien and Cleary were more impressive.

If it is going to be wet as forecasted, based on Toby's form in the wet on Saturday you think he should be in the team.
