Would we be better off letting Khamis play back permanently? It's a hard gig being the 3rd tall in a team with 3 talls already along with a small who can leap and mark as well as he can crumb and pressure. Add in a rotating mid and there's not much room left.

On the other hand a player of Khamis' height and athleticism could be the perfect matchup for those troublesome tweener players like Fritsch. When there aren't players like that who demand attention he's good enough to intercept.

There should be opportunity for someone to step up as Dureya and Crozier probably don't have long left. JJ is 30 with a well established history of medium-long term injuries. Even O'Brien is nearly 30.

What has happened to West? He played 14 games last season. He had a purple patch where he kicked 9 goals in five games and looked like he belonged a the level and had cemented his spot. He doesn't look anywhere near that form at the moment.

12 touches today, has not been good all season. Form is a real worry

Of course every player makes mistakes, but that one fell low and into the Carlton player's lap and Gardner was caught behind.

16 kicks which if I was the opposition I’d want him to do often.

Thought it was Buss and Clarke’s best games this season. Gardner back to his better self.

He's way too good not to be on an afl list.

Cleary composed again. Hardly ever fumbles and I reckon he should have a high disposal efficiency. Flys under the radar a bit but I think he has a future in our AFL side.

Agree with comments regarding Khamis to backline, his switch to backline in last quarter saved us the game (just-phew).

Gardiner still looks worried when he has the ball however he was pretty good today.

West was ok when we put him on ball but he is not the commanding vfl player he once was. Got a feeling he may be traded at end of year with one year left with us, if there is interest elsewhere. Hope he turns it around.

Poulter looks good, decent mark and ok speed. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets picked up in AFL again.

Darcy did ok-someday soon he will hold those almost marks and when he does it’ll be fun for us. Didn’t give away any ruck infringements this week, well done Sam.

O’Donnell took a few nice grabs and didn’t try and do too much with his disposal, looks promising.

Shout out to little Craig Cooper Peters. Big heart for a small player. Like his toughness.

My fave J. Garner wasn’t as prominent today but still did ok. Hardly ever wastes a disposal. I can see his lack of speed is probably what’s holding him back.

Hope Sullivan gets a go at AFL level. IMO he would have been a better choice than McComb to be elevated last year.
                            Josie :)
