I liked his energy in what I saw. Disappointing it faded.

Might need another one or two more pre seasons to improve his consistency. Can disappear for long periods. Just needs to find more of the ball.

To me he is still learning the game. He's got some AFL traits but has a lot to learn. He will come good.

Was always meant to be a bit of a project right? Showing he can mix it at AFL level already for me is great progress.

I think so. He's such a positive and happy person on the training track I'd say he would be one of the most popular players.

Does anyone know why Harvey Gallagher wasn?t playing today for Footscray? He killed it last week against the Swans and thought he might have been in with a sneaky chance to make his debut against Essendon.

It looks like it.

He was named in the bests but I couldn't see how. I thought he played well below his best despite getting a fair bit of it. He is slow and his disposal at times was shocking. There is no zip in his play.

Also the opposition weren't the strongest I think it's time for him to open the Scraggers hair salon at the Whitten oval.
