    English can build his total by being unmatched around the ground with his agility and marking. Sweet builds his total with his physicality in ruck duels and protecting his midfielders at the drop of the ball . Pity a struggling team cannot find a way utilise both sets of talent.

        Only the four players from our team last night are VFL legal based on what is generally the rule for qualification.

        Poulter
        Crozier
        McLean

        Vandermeer and McNeil ended up only playing five VFL games each

        edit: been told that West has played too many AFL games this season so he's not eligible even though he played enough VFL games.

                The rule is that an AFL listed player who has played with the AFL team after July 1 can't play for their VFL aligned side unless they have played x number of games which is either 6 or 7 games.

                McNeil may not have played the games in the AFL side but he got held over as the travelling emergency a lot this season and would have been eligible. Vandermeer just had his dodgy soft tissue issues and couldn't get out there. Then when he's fit but not selected in the AFL side it almost always lined up with a bye.
