I don't believe so. I think I read he played too many games in the seniors in the second half of the year.

I believe the limit is 12 AFL games to play VFL finals, which is exactly what West has played, so he may be eligible.

I think there used to be an additional rule around not playing too many AFL games after a certain date, but not sure if that rule still exists.

Yeah, I thought I read West played too many senior afl games after July 1st. Clearly he is eligible to play which is good news.

Have to have played 6 vfl games and no more than 12 afl games.

Only the four VFL games so no. Unless the VFL has changed the game criteria from 6 and haven't announced it yet.
