We have always had a strong VFL side and that will continue if you look at the AFL squad that won’t get a game.

Some other names that have played as top up players this preseason from 2023 include Orgill, Kellet, Smith and Chatfield

Anyone going to be at the VFL practice game? Would love any reports since It's 6 and a half years since I last lived in Victoria.


edit: I'm also looking at the fixture, do we not play the Suns? We don't have a match vs them in the fixture

No Bullants
No Coburg
No Sandringham


Baffling stuff to not have every team play each other. Especially when any team that gets Coburg and the Bullants have a guaranteed 8 points and huge bonuses to percentage.

Who could possibly imagine the AFL overseeing something that provides an uneven opportunity.

I guess we have to win every game and then percentage won't matter.

The VFL is a lost competition it’s umm should we be a reserves competition or not . 21 teams you are so close to splitting into two divisions of ten and playing each other twice.
I’m of the opinion it goes back to the old reserves comp and plays before the seniors.
I even want to see the under 18s competition play a few games before AFL games.
