Fingers crossed on Arty and Clarke we really need these two to continue to improve so we can play more natural small forward talent in the seniors.

We've picked a strong side and I agee it's time to start seeing some good form from Arty and Clarke plus I'd throw in Busslinger for good measure

Arty just adds something different to our side, I know he struggled to get the ball at times but when he did it just felt different like there was potential for something to happen. I'm really keen to have another look at him at senior level, I do have a feeling he is one of those players that will play better at the higher level.

G is there any feel with Aidan O'Driscoll and when he might be able to return? Does he look to be moving ok in rehab? His attributes are some we are really crying out for also but obviously will take some time.

He seems to do the work on the track except when the more tackling or contact drills start but even then I think he is a long way off being match fit. In a running drill with JOD on Friday he couldn't keep up the pace with him.
I take the indefinite tag he's been given by our medical team that he is a long way from being able to train fully and then be available to play for the VFL. Perhaps the half way mark of the season or a bit before that. I'll try and ask him next week if the opportunity presents.
This happened in late Jan so it's nearly 8 weeks since the collision. It certainly was a serious collision.

His preseason was also on the limited side even before the collision right?

Also sucks that there's an hour between the start of the VFL and the AFL, would be pretty difficult to get from Whitten Oval to Ballarat if it were a 3pm start time in the AFL though. Just a shame because it's nice watching the VFL and then switching over to the seniors.

Yep, from memory he had a later start than the others and then a couple of niggling injuries just holding him back a bit.

We're certainly playing aggressively. Couple of times where our skills let us down but I'd rather stuff up being aggressive other being timid and not being slick.
