Could Spicer be a legitimate option at MSD if we had a spot available?

Early days of course but am liking the reports.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

                  From NM website:

An exciting player who absolutely oozes class and x-factor, Phoenix Spicer came to North as a raw half-forward/wing player off the back of a strong Under 18s season with South Adelaide.

While a broken arm restricted his ability to participate in the NAB AFL Draft Combine, Spicer completed the agility test in the SANFL’s 2019 Under 18 pre-season in 7.8 seconds, the fastest time of any participant.

Spicer got his first taste of AFL football late in the 2021 season when he made his debut in his home state against the Crows.

North Melbourne debut: Round 23, 2021

2022: After debuting in the final round of the 2021 season in his home state of South Australia, Spicer was made to wait until Round 16 before making his second appearance in the senior team.

The speedster recorded a career-high for disposals in the Round 18 win over Richmond with eight and booted his first goal in the AFL a week later from a set shot against Hawthorn in Tasmania.

With the talent to burn opponents and generate moments of magic, a pre-season dedicated to improving his skill around the contest could see the 20-year-old have a bigger impact in 2023.

We've made the most of our opportunities and the demons have been wasteful with theirs.
With our shorter forward line we can't be just bombing it in and allowing them to intercept mark. Look for the 30 metre angled pass.
                    Garcia has impressed.

Busslinger getting absolutely flogged. Shouldnt be getting out bodied that bad and repeatedly.
                        Garcia is a machine.
Lobb doing what he does , rucking and going forward. We seem to be lacking a tall forward when he isn’t there making it easy for Melbourne defenders to take marks.
A little puzzling how we are winning and hopefully we take over in the second half as they have had all the open space they want to move forward.
Jefferson looks like a gun but his kicking keeping us in it.
                        Bring back the biff

McNeil barely visible, same with Bedendo and Cleary.

Garcia leading this team from the front. Lobb too good for this level but we don’t have a spot for him.

I like the look of Freijah and also impressed with Croft’s kicking out of defence. Spicer definitely one to keep our eyes on.
"I'll give him a hug before the first bounce and then I'll run into my pack and give them orders to rip him apart."

Spicer really loves a tackle, poleaxed that Casey player chasing the ball.
