Croft has shown why long term he's probably a better defender with his goalkicking

Busslingers kicking is really quite sexy. Very smooth mover for a big key back.

I was explaining to my son who he was just before that last kick. His response after his kick: "What is that!"

Only Croft’s second game though and showing he will be ok.
Garcia has to get in next week, can’t see Daniel getting back in atm.
Gardner could come in also . Did Lobb go off at half time ?

All his shots were pretty ordinary.

Lobb stayed off the ground with an ankle injury. Scott as well.

Really liked Buss' game tonight. He's coming along nicely.

How laconic does Poulter look , not saying it’s bad he just has that calm take it easy look about him.

I don’t understand why Caddy isn’t getting a game at the bombers with the state they are in.

Clarke also heavily limping through game and at end. So three ankles today.

Decent win in the end for Footscray. Realistically only Garcia has put his hand up for a promotion, really nice game across four quarters. Daniel probably our next best but can be better.

Harmes, Cleary and Jones played well but all three of them faded in and out of the game. Not sure how much Harmes actually offers us at the centre bounce. Garcia is super zippy though and can hunt down opposition jumpers when they break away, so there's potential for a point of difference there at AFL level. He reminds me so much of Dahlhaus.

Promising signs from Busslinger who is very positive with his attack on the ball and ball use. Freijah is a likely type, just needs more time to add the polish to his disposal. Croft moves so well for a guy of his size, he'll be a handful for the opposition. Bit of Eric Hipwood about him.

Clarke tries but it didn't come together for him today. Gardner thrust into the ruck and seemed to compete at the hitouts okay but otherwise didn't really get involved. Bedendo really no impact. McNeil some awful shots at goal.

Poulter and Keath were both a mixed bag I thought, but contributed well.

Injured in the 1st so did well to finish the game.

Ground was a bit damp and few slides . Hopefully it doesn’t affect the seniors.

Okay, okay let's just say he moves like Eric Hipwood, has the hands of Levi Casboult, the competitiveness of Jacob van Rooyen and the kicking skills of Bayley Fri... no scratch that.
