Luke Beecken is an interesting watch - small defender with a good tank from SA. On the radar in clubland apparently. only 23 so a lot of football left ahead of him

Just watched a couple of clips of him and he has the sort of dash and kicking skills we could use. Nice observation Mofra.

Can I insert a video here that is on my laptop or does it have to be on youtube etc?
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Discord is what we need. Similar, chat, but for forums when theres something more suited to a chat type environment.

Discord is great for playing games and chilling with friends, or even building a worldwide community. Customize your own space to talk, play, and hang out.

It's like woofers are discussing this over on woofs discord channel now... Etc.

Pretty strict size limits for videos though

Are you looking to avoid making it public? You can have a video be 'unlisted' so it doesn't come up in searches, only people with the link can see it (so basically the same as uploading to WOOF)

Hmm - yeah...it's a bit trickier than that for me.

                    Doesn't matter.

Best young players in the WAFL.

Skaife and Blight everyone is talking about anyway.

My thoughts? Skaife isn't ready and Blight is a bit slow/makes his living as an interceptor...my thoughts about drafting players from secondary leagues who are intercept first players are (I think) well known.

Cleaver: EF. Still only 19 (he's 20 'about' now to be fair). Started at half-back but has moved into the mids for East Freo. Strong body, hard runner, nice kick...should be on a list.

Hagan: EF. Mid/Small forward. Another who's 19. Nice player - gets separation, very contested.

Ferreira: SF. 19. Winger/outside mid. Excellent runner. Lovely kick. Maybe doesn't win his own footy enough but has had several 25+ possession games...understands width and space.

Riley Wills. P. 19. Inside mid. Played nationals last year and was a bit better than serviceable. Changed clubs in the off-season so I'm not sure what the go is there...can certainly get it. Was injured to start the year but is in the league side now.

                      Noah Cachard. P. 19. Half forward/mid. Elite runner/just a great athlete. Played every game this year...left footer...would be a sub 6:00 2km runner...probs 185 I guess but a real 'player' - country kid...

Blake Schlensog - P. 24. Probs the most talented player not on an AFL list in the country. Apparently is an 'interesting' bloke but I don't know him...just know he is 200cm tall, runs like the wind and has go-go-gadget arms...was on Geelong's list.

Elijah Scoble - P. 19. Key back. Pushing 195cm - great runner, contested player. NOT a great kick though. But how many 19yo's are holding down key back spots at state league level. Has 'something'...

Kane Bevan - WP. 20. Inside mid. Ball winner. Runs OK, kicks it OK...not sure what but seems to be consistently overlooked. Think he would blossom if given a chance. 100% passes the "I wouldn't want to play on him' test.

Tom Graham - EP. 22. Key forward who is (seemingly) always injured. Played one senior game last year - a final...brought straight in and kicked 5. Has 'the knack'. Big, strong, draws the footy...hard matchup and happy to hurt defenders who drop into space in front of him. Kicks GOALS.

Darcy Craven - EP. 19. Small forward/mid/. Kicked 10 goals in 3x senior games. Left footer. Fast and very skilful. Needs a chance.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

                        Very intriguing.

Was a cat b rookie at Geelong and is apparently a defender but looking at his stats it seems like he's played a little ruck part time and maybe up forward (3 goals one game while another was 26 touches and no goals so maybe playing utility?)

Thanks mjp, Cachard sounds a good replacement for O’Driscoll.

                              Team-mates last year.

Cachard has good speed, great endurance. He isn't the speed freak O'Driscoll would have been though.

It starts and ends there. Can play up forward, down back and in the ruck.
