Very early days and obviously the numbers aren’t there but I’m impressed with Rypstra, passes the eye test IMO his involvements are first class. Been a brutally tough initiation for him into an undermanned team half way through the season (where he knows no one, none of the game plan, structure etc) into a team with zero tall forwards to work off.

Just the little things he does though, hits the ball at pace, cleanliness, the pressure and strong tackling.


Aaaand as I’m writing this he puts through a beauty, this kids got it! Very exciting - and he’s exactly what we’re missing in our forward line too as a genuine ground level small

Anyone know what?s up with Bendendo?

Guess the small forwards got to work after half time. Thought arty was pretty creative. I?d probably like to see him get an extended run on the wing. See if he can find the ball more.

Good effort considering we’re undermanned. Skill level of some of our vfl players iffy, although their endeavour is good. How many times did the swans mark our kicks into F50?

I thought he was ok from the small sample size of the screen racked up a few possies playing in the middle but I only saw up to part way through the last to get ready for the seniors.
If there's a spot in the seniors he could get a recall but after this afternoon that would be unlikely.

No vfl or afl game next week , means Croft and Cleary don’t get to show anything for three weeks, kind of hampers us a bit as Darcy could have also got a game in the vfl.
