Harmes had enough time. It wasn't intelligent footy.

He was washed up at Casey 2 years ago and we sign him for 3. What were we thinking.

How good was Crossley and the service he gave his midfield. He reminded me of Sweet with his tap work.

I went along today. Nice old school footy feel at the Whitten Oval.

I stood right at the back EJ Whitten Stand.

Was waiting for my coffee when the hail came through.

Not our day and disappointing we couldn?t get it done at the end after that fight back in the last quarter.

Could Woodcock be a player at AFL level?

I think he's like Cavarra where he's a very good VFL player but doesn't have enough tricks to make it in the AFL.

Always astounded at how bad the standard of umpiring gets at the next level down

Umpiring this game must be so hard.

The AFL guys are just ok imo but agree every time we see VFL or AFLW which is where I assume the talent coming through is located it's genuinely atrocious. Is it a talent pool thing? I mean someone like Leigh Fisher went pretty quickly into the AFL, maybe they just can't find good candidates.

I think that there was a notable decline in the VFL standard of umpiring when the AFL went to four field umpires. They'd take the good VFL ones and there would be a knock on effect.
