The MSD will be interesting. I’d love for CCP to get a nod as I think his good enough for afl level long term in a half forward. Has speed and tackles. His also improved year on year.

However feel we will go for key position coverage. Maybe Tomlinson is the go as a break glass at either end.

Personally think Gardner has looked pretty solid at vfl level this year. So I’d be looking best available

Does CCP hit the scoreboard? I think that should be our big criteria when chasing a small forward. McNeil, VDM, Dolan have speed and tackle, but don’t have regular two to four goal games.

CCP is close to an AFL standard player but I feel he doesn't have any hurt factor to his game. To me Brew was a better option but we passed on him.
With Sanders and Freijah doing well we aren't really lacking midfield depth.
Who knows if we just go from best available or target someone that might be able to help us this season.

The errors he makes with his disposal is the reason Hawks were happy to let him go.

That might be from a supporters perspective but if the recruiting team didn't land D'Ambrosio he would have been offered another deal.

Harmes has grown on me I neutral with Bramble and I wish he would stop doing short kicks.

We were right about Harmes last year, where his body didn't hold up...but he has got fit and is an important part of the squad this year.

Harmes has grown on me I neutral with Bramble and I wish he would stop doing short kicks.

He wasn't fit last year but now that he is he's showing a lot more. He's more than holding his spot with us now.

It's interesting as talking to Demons fans they said he was cooked in 2023.
Think they're as surprised as us!

You can see he's really slimmed down over summer and it's helped with his running power.

I think it’s time some well deserved credit is given to the clubs recruiting and list management teams for the recent recycled recruits they have brought in, Kennedy, Harmes and Bramble. Not a lot of love for Harmes and Bramble initially, but I don’t think their bargain basement value can be questioned any longer.

Yep-totally agree. We’ve been terrific in this area recently.
