I didn't get to watch much because the VFL game started I got the times wrong. But looking at the stats Ollie Greeves cemented himself in the top 10 with that performance. As for our first I'm sold on Dovaston

2 months out from the draft

top group without F/S, academy picks, our pick likely to fall 12-13 after band 1 compensation.
      1. Cooper Duff-Tytler - ruck
      2. Willem Duursma - utility
      3. Dyson Sharp - mid (SA)
      4. Josh Lindsay - rebound def
      5. Xavier Taylor - key def
      6. Mitch Marsh - fwd (SA)
      7. Sam Grlj - speedy mid
      8. Samuel Cumming - mid (SA)
      9. Aidan Schubert - ruck/fwd (SA)
      10. Jacob Farrow - half back/mid (WA)
      11. Oliver Greeves - mid
      12. Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves - half-fwd
      13. Jevan Phillipou - mid/fwd (SA)
      14. Sullivan Robey - mid/fwd
      15. Lachy Dovaston - small fwd
      16. Oskar Taylor - half back
I reckon outside the top 2, any of these could be sliders on the night

I think this is what they mean when they talk about the strength of this draft, Duursma & CDT are both worthy top 5 picks. I’d hate to be Essendon with 2-3 picks though as I feel like the group after that are decent mid to late 1st rounders compared to previous years. I wouldn’t take any of Lindsay, Grlj, Taylor, Greeves, Marsh top 10 last season.

but if they were all rated 8-20, it’s a strong group and some of them will be real stars.

Oskar Taylor. If we are looking for a small defender with pace and kicking skills then he might be worth Scouting.
He apparently got a state combine invite
I watched some more of his highlights based on this recommendation and I'd be okay with using our first pick on him if he was available.
I understand that highlight reels can be misleading but there is a bit there to work with.

Yes and Mattaes' brother of course.

Sam's father Peter was a SANFL legend himself, they are quite the sporting family.

Does Callum watch too many Victorian games?

                  Callum Twomey

Draft bolter Sullivan Robey has received a call-up to the national Draft Combine after his super run of form. Well in the mix as a top-10 pick.

Robey and Eastern Ranges teammate Oskar Taylor have both been added to Combine list.

Sorry not sure who Callum is? But you're right I do tend to concentrate on Victorian based players less chance to request a trade to go home.

I don't follow your point BAD? He's just reporting these 2 have scored combine invites through strong late season form. This is requested by the clubs, nothing to do with Twomey.

Worked well for Dunkley and Smith!

I think Hamling is the last player we lost to their home state and that was mostly due to his father being sick. I'm not sure it's a major worry unless you have a concern about with a particular player pre-draft.

We will probably lose Sanders to Tassie but that is going to be due to a Godfather offer more than anything.

That pick will move to around 15 or 16. Compensation picks wreck the draft order.
No club would offer West Coast a pick in the top 15 for Oscar Allen and yet they'll get pick 2. Same with Sam Draper likely getting Essendon a top 10 pick

That's true but I just prefer we chase Victorian players. But you have a fair point
