I don't understand why the Williamstown game thread is on the State League Football Board. There is no discussion of the non-bulldogs aligned players or anything at all to do with Williamstown's overall form or their ladder position etc. The discussion is all about the Bulldogs players and as such I believe it should be on the Bulldogs Unleashed Board.

Alternatively, could we sticky a thread on the main board titled "Bulldogs Reserves form guide" where we just discuss discuss bulldogs listed players performances in the twos. Then we could keep a Williamstown game day thread on the State League board for discussion about Williamstown.
It's part of a bigger strategy for the forum.
The form they are displaying are in the context of VFL football so in my opinion it fits nicely here. I also don't think it's too much on an inconvenience for anyone to check this forum.

      Re: Williamstown vs Werribee

I obviously couldn't watch the game on the weekend, but managed to watch it last night on the IQ box. Firstly what a shocker. The conditions where unbelieveable. When players where kicking the ball into the wind, the ball was going backwards. The amount of throw ins from the boundary, would have to be a record.

Anyway its would be difficult to judge players on that performance, as the turnovers where so constant. Every player would of had atleast a couple of shocking clangers. For me the standout was Skipper, he was the most consistent. Took a couple of nice marks in bad coditions. He also showed some great determination, which was pleasing as he normally looks lazy. My only question on Skipper making it in the Afl would be, he's height to play as a ruckmen and his decision making. We've already got a couple of bad decision makers in the side with Lake, Williams, Minson and Addision. I don't think he is agile or smart enough to play KP forward.

Everitt looks like his put on a bit of size, I don't think you can still call him Skinny. Did some nice thinks but the conditions didn't suit him. Deserves another go in the seniors soon.

Tiller got a fair bit of the ball, but really turned it over. But again the conditions where terrible so hard to judge his disposal.

Reid did a couple of nice things too. Kick two first quarter goals and got the team going. He wouldn't earn a senior squad call up on that performance, but has been playing well over the last month. Reid is a really nice size and his body is suited to AFL footy.

Wood looks like a player. Good size, quick, courageous and decent disposal. Wood and Reid will be competing for spots with Addision and Harbrow.

O'keefe just looked dangerous, even though he didn't kick a goal. One looked to me and the commentators as goal, because it hit the goal umpire but was ruled as a point for some reason.

Cordy also did some nice things. Probably needs to get more involved. He was part of a nice passage of play when he kicked a goal into the wind. I have confidence in him being a star and making an impact next year.

Callan was strong in defence, put looked like he had broken or badly bruised a rib. Looks like he will miss a few weeks.

Welsh looked fairly ready to come back into the team. He didn't score but did setup a couple of goals. We need his experience in side, especially if we play Grant.

Wight didn't do much right or wrong. He has been passed by a few players and might be jumped by Boumann soon too.

Stack again was inconsistent. Did some really nice things but also some easy things wrong. He just looks slow with his disposal, looks like he thinks to much before he disposes of the ball, then gets caught.

No one had a blinder, but the condition dictated that. If someone gets elevated this week, it wouldn't be based on their performance on Sunday but on the last few weeks.

If this is true, how unlucky can he be this season.

Was very brave & got crunched standing infront of Nathan Thompson. Just can't get going. Having said that Hargrave did wel last year on Milne.

Didn't just stand in front of the leading Nathan Thompson, who came with the velocity of a Mac truck, but backed into the lead knowing he was coming. Very few do that. Ask Josh.

I would have him in my 18.

So would Eade, but he just can't stay on the park.
