I'm a bit older than you, David Dench was the best full back I have ever seen.

Chris Grant was the best CHB I've ever seen.

Chris Grant is a very interesting call.

His 1996 season at CHB was amazing. I have no doubt that if we could have afforded the luxury of playing him there for the majority of his career, he would be seen as one of the greatest CHB's of all time.

From what I hear, Dench was an attacking defender before it was cool.

I've posted this before, but I think if Chris Grant had taken the money in 96 and gone to Port, he could have played CHB with Tredrea at CHF and Grant would be a 3 time premiership captain and universally recognised as the best CHB of our generation.

David Dench kicked 2 goals in a game from FB in 1973, both times by running down the ground bouncing and landing long bombs.

In 1973 backmen weren't even allow to handball, let alone run 100 metres forward of their opponent.

          OK, Agree Scarlett is tremendous.

Good to see some praise for Bolton. I see far too much of the swans live and on TV up here but I can never see enough of Bolton. Great player.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Disagree that he was the best CHB. Loved watching Granty play was a beauty!
Read the play well at CHB but can recall there was a 3 week period we he had 18 goals kicked on him. Due to his creativity was a little loose for mine but on the positive created alot of play, similar to a Paul Roos.
Centre Half forward was his position as he was able to score goals and provide a marking option up there along with assisting his teammates to also score goals
Glenn Jackovich was one of the better CHB hardly ever got beaten and had the upper hand against the best CHF in Carey. Ross Glendinning was another very good CHB. Hard to argue against Dench.
