We'll have to depend on your report - after yesterday's effort I decided to give this morning's game a miss and have a sleep in.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Oh dear, under the pump a bit now

Wallis was pretty good today, without doing anything too outstanding to elevate him above the rest. Played probably 75% of the game in the midfield, which got rotated rather heavily.

His first quarter was very good; accumulated alot of the ball, and used it quite well. At quarter time, he was probably best on ground.

But after that, he began to fade out of the game, and his skills seemed to go downhill. But overall a positive outing for the young lad, he probably would have snuck into the bests for the APS side, who did it easily in the end.

        Thanks for the report, HD.

          Yeah he played very well.

Of course that may not be a 100% impartial view

You mentioned he was Vice Captain - would that be Luke Mitchell or Viv Michie?

              Viv - he's a good midfield/back flanker.

That Mitchell looked a serious forward prospect though. Had good size for his age, great on the lead and good set of hand and skills.

If he keeps tracking along, he'll be a top 10 pick next year.
