As a CHB it's a little more straight ahead for him.
Not too sure about Reid. As you say, he does have a slow turning circle. As a result a CHF will jog to the square then do the standard figure 8 lead to gain a metre from him.

Regarding both Reid & Everitt, there probably isn't alot in it if you compared the both, however i just think Reid reads the play a little better than Everitt, knows where to run, leads well as a forward, and looked very good down back in the VFL, however what are his skills like? I probably rate Everitts skills a little better, both talls, hard to split.

It may come down to who would have a better attitude? I'm not sure about Reid but Everitt isn't Dale Morris in that area.

Guys I'd be having a look at:

        Jared Rivers (Melbourne)
        Beau Dowler (Hawthorn)
        Barry Hall (Sydney)
        Ben Reid (Collingwood)
        Heath Grundy (Sydney)

Unfortunately, all of those players would come at a very high price (Hall being the exception, of course).

Reid would be my pick but I can't see Collingwood trading him at all.

I wonder what Hawthorn's long term plan for Dowler is. Surely he will only want to be backup to Roughed and Franklin for so long before wanting out.

I agree. I can't see the kid wanting to pay back up.....think Brayshaw for Brissie. his career, though polished was stunted and if nothing else overshadowed by his support roles to Lynch and Brown. From all accounts Beau seems a reasonably good kid and he has played a few games this year so getting him to the club wouldn't be the worst idea, especially whilst he's got BBB to support him.

They could play Roughead as a back man and Dowler in the forward line.

When Hawthorne was floated as a destination for Hall it was suggested Roughed had no desire to play back.

Does Fevola make the list? It could get pretty interesting to see how Carlton handle this, especially if other clubs play a bit of hardball with what they are prepared to part with for Fev.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?
