I need back up here, GVG – Boumann was good, wasn’t he? It might be getting to the stage where I can’t objectively tell anymore.

Because of the conditions, the traditional defensive positions were thrown out the window.

Meyer and Tiller played deep defensively with Cloke as loose man, and Everitt and Boumann both played around the centre half back position.

Wood and Callan were used as the small defenders.

He performed well. Good might be pushing it but it's not far from the mark.
I thought Skipper was our best player and then Wood, O'Keefe and Callan. Boumann was probably just behind those guys.

forget Wight, he doesn't have it in the head, ie he won't train and work hard to achieve a level good enough for AFL.

I'm not convinced it's an attitude or work issue, he's just not very good at football.

He was drafted primarily because he was 6' 7" and could run like the wind. His main problem is simply he can't catch.

Can't we just teach him to punch it?

Do you guys see Skipper going on again next year? Seems to be doing everything he can to get a run in the side but just hasn't had an opportunity because the big men haven't had injuries. Is Roughead ready to be the back-up ruckman next year or should skipper be kept on?
