Also, good to see Henry White play his best game of the year-clearly BOG.

Seniors game is a slog but Stack has shown some flashes of brilliance. Boumann has been rock solid at full back...

    Second half about to start.
Thanks Comrade, any word down there who Everitt is replacing? I heard Hudson wasn't well and Murphy was being checked out a bit at training yesterday. I can't inagine going in with one ruckman though.

His last 5 minutes of the 2nd qtr was very good.

I have liked Lynch's game. His defensive pressure has been great, racking up a heap of tackles. He has also shown a couple of flashes of brilliance. He just needs to get his hands on it a bit more but his workrate looks good.

Excuse my bias but I think he has had a good game so far.

Stack was pretty good all day I thought with good pressure and classy skills.
Roughead took a nice grab in the goalsquare.
O'keefe got B.o.g... Not really sure why. Alot of bombing it long into the f50.
            Wood did some courageous things.
Boumann was very solid in the backline.
Callan/Addison played like they always do. Hard at the ball and decent disposal.
Tiller I thought looked a little off but went in hard.
Lynch kicked a nice 50 metre set shot.
            Skipper was pretty quiet.

Pretty good day from all the dogs players without anyone really standing out as a class above.

Special mention to Jason Cloke. If only he could kick the ball properly he'd be more than handy. Great mark of the ball.

I thought Tiller looked good in the first half before he got the elbow to the head. Lynch was always dangerous and tackled hard all day.

Boumann very good day back, and looks like he is progressing very welll. Stacks pressure when he didn't have the ball was excellent.

              Overall a good win.

How good was Lynch's little flick up off the ground to himself on the 50m arc, just to have it ripped out of hands by Joyce, was a touch of something speacial. He showed good signs today, afraid it might be a little too late though. Good win by the boys today!

Must admit Boumann really impressed me. Williams may have a little competition for the centre half back role in the coming years.

I only watched the first half but the game must have changed heaps. Cloke was useless, Stack hardly touched it and O'Keefe only did 1 good thing.

Just to upset the Port fans here, the first half umpiring went all Port's way.

He got pinged with the ball a couple of times and coughed the ball up will skills errors but generally today's form has been par for the course for him really. Very creative rebounding defender. He did well on the Ports taller blokes.

Me? I am a Towner. Had a break during their Collingwood association (become a detached Bees fan) but I am well and truly back on board. I live in Newport, our claim to fame is being near Williamstown.
