No, I'll go with Moore (though if JMP is available there's a fair chance we'll snap him up - I had him going late second round about 6 weeks ago and was hoping we'd snap him up with our second pick. His rating has absolutely surged in recent weeks).

The club must not be convinced in Grant to consider Griffiths, either. Perhaps they see Grant as more of a second foil?

You would think at present the MC and list management group would be hoping that a combination of Grant, Jones & Cordy would be filling the key forward posts in 2 to 3 years.

I guess if they aren't convinced they may be looking to bring in another option, but at present I would be placing a little faith in these guys and trying to shore up other areas. However if we are presented with the option to take a tall option who slides we may take it knowing that there will be slim pickings for decent talls over the next 2 or 3 years (due to GC & WS and especially with our first 2 picks in next years draft looking likely to be used on our F/S mid's)

Going to be a very interesting night.

I get excited every time a new name jumps up into calculations e.g. Bartlett, McMillan-Pittard, if only to increase the chances of us snaring an even better player. I am hoping that more talls get attention (haven't heard much about Panos for example since the U/18 champs) to give us a chance at Talia

A few weeks ago I contact gvg about which player he thought were in the mix for our selection and he said Carlisle then Stevens and Griffiths.
I also respect the Docs views on drafting so I'll go with Carlisle as well.

Jake Melksham - as you would all know I would love to get Talia - but I don't think he will get past Carlton, and if he does, he will be picked up by Adelaide - who rate him highly.

I would expect around half of those 12 will be gone at our pick, which means it is not as open as it looks but it will not be a foregone conclusion who we will select after the first 14 are done

That will be a first.

I guess things may change with a different recruiting team in place, but we have always been well planned with our selections and have never tended to take too long to make a decision.

I think ill go for moore as well, but as has been said, its certainly wide open at this stage and greatly depends on the previous couple of picks.

I think we might pick up Brad Sheppard.

I'd be really happy with Moore but I see him being picked up by Sydney. Bartlett is another one but don't see us taking a risk on him. JMP and Carlisle are two i'm not overly keen on.

Good to see Talia towards the top there (if it is accurate), however i would see the top 3 gone by the time our pick comes up.

From that list of 5, i can see either Sheppard, Jetta or McMillan-Pittard, especially McMillan-Pittard being selected by us, reason being, double letters in names with first picks, recent history :

I guess Ayce Cordy spoils my party, but he can be excused, as he was father son and we had to take him.
