Miles is a very nice kid who I played with when I was a kid and seen him play a fair bit for the bushies. Absolute ball magnet, 43 touches for the day is not all that surprising. Good to see.

I think the Western Jets sole representative is Matt Smith playing for the NT. There was a few in the Vic Metro squad, but none in for this weeks game I believe.

If true, how much does that say about his leadership skills? Fantastic if it happens!

Who are some others playing in the carnival that I should look out for that have links with us or that were looking at drafting or something like that??

                          Re: U/18 Carnival

From South Australia there are a few to watch out for:

Sam Day is the one I'm the biggest wrap for, but he will almost certainly be a target for the Gold Coast. The SA side is said to have a strong contingent of taller players, with Day and two rucks who are highly fancied in Daniel Gorringe from Norwood, and Scott Lycet from Port.

Another Norwood boy playing for SA, Mitchell Grigg, is eligible for GWS and looks likely to end up there as he's not eligible for the ND this year.

I'm sure T&T can tell you more about some of the Glenelg players.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

I'll ask someone "who would know" as to which players are being watched the closest from Glenelg.
