Any news on Christian Howard?

I had my 1st look at him briefly on Saturday. I only arrived midway through the 3rd quarter and if he was in the bests he must have had a good first half. I was expecting big things from his kicking and didn't see it at all. He kicked it often enough, he was taking the kick-ins (the fact that he is given the duties is a good sign) but I saw more Sam Power than Lindsay Gilbee.

I thought Tutt was better than Howard in the short bit I saw (certainly used it better).

Only his second game since October, after pretty big surgery. I heard he was pretty sore after game one!

And up until last week he'd never actually played against men before, allways been under age.

He'll be fine in a year or two...

I arrived for about the last 5 minutes of the third and you have 100% agreement from me on the performance.

With his interrupted start I am not really expecting anything in 2010.
