We have had minimal changes over the last 2 seasons and I can see no good reason to keep players on the list if they aren't measuring up.
Well on that form line he stays.

I'm not sure he is or will be good enough, but Im not sure how many changes we can afford to make. He's shown that he is serviceable at AFL level, and his 08 finals campaign showed he can be quite good. However, the same applies for Callan. Really it's a decision that could go either way and probably wouldn't bother me too much if he went, but given his unfortunate run with injuries I would feel a bit for him if he went.

There does however seem some support on this forum for him however, and I am curious how supportive we would all be if he wasn't a tough hard at it player but an outside player with a similar form line and injury history.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

If Tiller was fit and ready I'd have no problems playing him over a guy like Hahn as a defensive forward. Physically he has all the attributes to play on and stop guys like Harry O, Goddard, Mackie etc, he is tall and strong enough to match them one on one as well as being quite quick. I dont think he'll make it as a back with his average disposal and he seems too small for a big man and not mobile enough to play on the small men.
Perhaps for 2011 he should be groomed to play as a defensive half forward as seems the vogue in modern footy.

I'm not sure what we should do with Tiller in terms of keeping him on the list because as you say the progress he made in 2008 hasn't been backed up consistently over the last 2 years.
Might be an adequate replacement for Hargrave in the near future. Needs to work on his fitness and concentrate on building his speed over preseason.

          Not sure that's really possible.

You are either quick or your not.
Injury may have something to do with you not being at your quickest but to be honest Tiller has never shown much speed.

Unfortunately he's just one of those players that are reasonable to good all rounders but don't have anything that stands out about them.

His big minuses are his lack of agility/speed and recovery. It really inhibits him from playing a key role in defense.
