Geez that was ugly just listening to the broadcast, sounds as though poor kicking for goal in the first half just didn't allow the Gulls to put any scoreboard pressure on.
Picked up that Callan sounded ok and Markovic early but from the broadcast and the reports from Woofers lots of our listed players had stinkers.
This whole Prelim finals business..... sheeesh

That's the worst game Matt Little and Pat Rose have ever played.

Everitt, Stack and Hill in the same F50 was ugly.


Davies, Lockwood, Jones, Faulks (bar one dreaful turnover) were all good, Callan and Markovic OK.

Lots of bloke who didn't give a yelp at all.

Must say, watching the game, there really wasn't anyone who really put their hand up to be picked for the prelim if he happen to beat the swans tonight, the Williamstown based players were, by and large, the best performers for the team.

How did Roughie play?

He was well beaten by Jacobs in my opinion. Did kick a couple of goals but didn't do much around the ground and Jacobs really dominated the hitouts both in the centre square and around the ground.

Clearly hampered by his shoulder injury though, and IMO absolutely no chance to come in to the Dogs team.

Roughy is struggling with that shoulder.
Tiller is done he can't kick and is to slow!
Boumann won't make it IMHO
Stack is done and dusted
Markovic is to slow
Howard struggled with the pressure and needs time
Everitt When will he take the bull by the horns in a game!!!Goes AWOL to often
Hill good early with his pressure but didn't get a lot of it.
Callan good solid Timmy Callan type game
If it wasn't for Brett Johnson and Davies Willy would have been crushed!!

Bit harsh on Tiller imo, he has had the season from hell, been out injured most of the season with no pre season under his belt, i'm not too sure people understand how much that can effect players, he is no superstar either, but a decent back up defender if needed, especially IF Markovic has no future.

Hill's defensive efforts seem to have improved. Anyone agree? He made some nice Tackles.
I really like the way on the TV they film right in the half-time huddle . Interesting.

Druid was on TV with Yellow and Blue hair! Funny.
